From his starting point at the local Boys and Girls Club...

What makes us different?
Coach Palmer stands out because of his history of winning.
He won at the high school level leading Santa Barbara Dons to their first CIF championship in 40 years!
After that, he continued to win at the collegiate level helping bring Ventura College to a state championship!
He went even further and played semi-pro basketball before returning to the 805 and starting his coaching career.
Dave has been at it for 21 years and developed a deep passion for coaching kids to be high-standing members of our community.
He instills in his team a sense of drive, skill, passion, and sportsmanship that has garnered the respect of the Santa Barbara community for over two decades.
