Santa Barbara Court of Champions

Coach David Palmer, along with 15 other Santa Barbara community members, who have foundational changed and served our youth over many decades, were inducted into the Santa Barbara Court of Champions. Coach Palmer joins previous inductees such as: Mekia Valentine, Pat Moore, Keith Closs, Chris McNealy, Ron Anderson, John Moore, Dave Bregante, Sam Battistone, Bill Bertka, Larry Crandell, Jerry West, Jamaal Wilkes, and Brian Shaw. Former Viper, Micah Jacobi, represented Coach Palmer at the Induction Ceremony. Congratulations Coach!!

Coach Palmer: Sportsperson of the Month (2013)
David Palmer was recognized as Sportsperson of the Month at Monday’s Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table press luncheon.
Palmer, who won a CIF Championship at Santa Barbara High and a State Championship at Ventura College, is a fixture in the local basketball community as the founder of the Vipers youth basketball program.

Dave Palmer, Head Coach had this to say after the end of the tournament: To watch this organization grow from the ground up has been a very humbling experience for me. We strive to teach the boys the fundamentals of the game so they can grow into serious high school players. To see it all come together this weekend has been a wonderful experience personally and for the team. I couldn't be prouder of them.
